- [Presenter] A valuable tool in Excel 2 is what we call the status bar. 3 It's at the bottom of the screen just below the sheet tabs, 4 big wide gray area. 5 In this worksheet here, it's six or 700 rows. 6 I'm going to click on column G 7 and some information appears in that status bar. 8 That's kind of interesting. 9 First of all, the total certainly 10 is not the high number might 11 or might not be, but here are two entries 12 that tell me something. 13 Numerical count 660, 14 meaning there are 660 cells in column G 15 that have numbers in them. 16 You can see of course that G one doesn't have a number 17 and G four also G 18, have text in them. 18 Just to the left of this, we see count 699, count means 19 how many cells have any kind of data whatsoever. 20 So 699 cells have data, 660 21 of them have numbers by inference, 22 then we could subtract that 23 and figure out how many of these people have been here…
