Use the Design tab to control table formatting
- [Instructor] When the active cell is within a table, the table design tab appears in the ribbon and we see some choices in this group called Table Style Options. Now, a minor change most of the time, but sometimes more significant, is first column. Usually what this does is it makes the text in the left-most column, this case, column A, bold print. And there's also one for last column. That's the column on the right. To see some differences, we could choose a different table style off to the right. Remember there's 61 different ones of these. Now we can't see the last column too readily unless we make column J a lot wider. I'll do that temporarily. And then, with both first column and last column having been selected, let's explore some of the styles here. And we don't see a lot of change taking place until we get to some of these choices here.
