- [Instructor] Excel's find and replace command is ideally 2 and typically designed to deal with content, 3 but you can also focus on format. 4 We might want to replace one format 5 with another format regardless of content, 6 and we can actually do both. 7 Sometimes it's a combination of content and format. 8 Let's start with a simple idea. 9 In this worksheet here, 10 after getting approval from higher management, 11 we're going to change the names of some 12 of the departments here. 13 And instead of the word "and" wherever we see it, 14 we want to use that ampersand symbol, 15 pound on the number 7 key 16 on the keyboards. 17 It'll make these entries a bit shorter and we see the word 18 and for example, and cell C2 also in C5, 19 6, 14, 15, 17, quite a few places here. 20 Let's take care of all these at once. 21 This is a list of about 700 entries or so. 22 So let's select column C, 23 and then on the home…
