- We're looking at the chapter four file called ColumnBarLine and the very first worksheet is called ColumnBar. We're seeing four variations on charts, two of them are column charts and we see the names above them. A clustered column chart, perhaps the most common chart, for many users in Excel. And to the right of that a variation on it it's called a stacked column chart. Now, sometimes its better to use a bar chart, or is it? You're going to be making the choice so at different times why not explore the two. It's easy to create these charts of course you probably have seen that in earlier movies. Keep in mind that if you want to change a chart just click that chart for example I've clicked the chart in the upper left corner cluster column, I'll go to the design tab in the ribbon off to the right, change chart type, and consider another type.
