Using last-to-first (bottom-up) searches with XLOOKUP and XMATCH

- [Instructor] Two of Excel's newer functions, 2 XLOOKUP and XMATCH, are powerful tools, 3 and they change the way we work with data 4 as we look up information and try 5 and pull together related information. 6 And they both have a feature 7 that has not existed in earlier versions of Excel, 8 and that's the ability to look at data from last to first, 9 or in the case of columns, bottom up. 10 We could even use this if we're looking 11 through data across rows. 12 There would be right to left. 13 Feature's called last to first. 14 XLOOKUP is the more powerful tool. 15 I'll show it to you first, 16 but we can also use this with XMATCH. 17 So I've got a list over in Columns A, B, and C. 18 Few hundred rows. 19 We have the names of salespersons in Column A. 20 The names are repeating. 21 We're tracking sales on different days, 22 and we're trying to find the last sales date 23 for one of the names here. 24 So, in…
