- [Instructor] If you work with large lists, 2 you might want to consider converting them to tables. 3 The table concept treats the data as an entity 4 and it also introduces some different concepts 5 as you work with formulas. 6 I've got a list here, I've scoped it out ahead of time, 7 there are no empty rows within it. 8 If you do want to convert data to a table, 9 make sure you have no empty rows within the data, 10 but if there's other data below this or to the right of it 11 that you don't want to become part of the table, 12 make sure it's isolated by at least an empty column. 13 something like what we're seeing over here. 14 Now I work with data a lot and I'm curious here 15 as to how many people do not have benefits. 16 I'd like to be able to count the blanks here. 17 So I'm going to type in a function for that. 18 It's called count blank. 19 As soon as you see it in the list here, 20 just tab it into place. 21 There…
