- [Instructor] There are multiple types of Mailboxes we can create in Exchange Server 2019, and we create them for different purposes. Let's go to where it says Resources. And we'll create what's called a Resource Mailbox. If we hit the dropdown next to the +, we can see two different types of Resource Mailboxes. We see a Room Mailbox and an Equipment Mailbox. The Room Mailbox is used to reserve a conference room or other utility room by having it auto accept any invitations from your calendar. We'll start by clicking on Room Mailbox, and then we'll create an Equipment Mailbox after that. Let's put in conference room one. And we'll give it the same name when it comes to the alias. We'll choose the default organizational unit of Users. And then we want to put in a location. This is really more useful for the people who are about to reserve the conference room, that they pick the right one. So, we'll say this is on the north side.
