Creating mailbox databases
- [Instructor] We're going to exchange admin center, and we see there's already a single mailbox database that has been created. But we can create additional mailbox databases. And we can do that by clicking on the plus while we're sitting in this server's database's link. We click on plus and we'll give our mailbox database a name. We'll call is DB2. And we'll browse to the only server that we have, which of course is Exchange1. And there it is. We'll click okay. And it defaults to the database file path that's already in place. But we can certainly change that if we want to. And we also see that the Mount this database box is checked. So this is going to automatically mount the database so it can become usable right away. Or we can uncheck it, make some changes, and then mount it later. Let's go ahead and leave it as the Mount this database, click Save. And we do get a warning that we need to restart the Microsoft…
