Email address policies
- [Instructor] One feature missing from Microsoft 365 that is in the on-premise Exchange is the email address policy. So we can see under Mail Flow at the top this is missing. But if we go to the on-premise Exchange Server under Mail Flow, we see the email address policies. And it's assumed that this is an issue with Microsoft trying to do this in a multi-tenant situation, which is why it may be missing. So we see this default policy if we double-click on it, and the default policy tells us that the policy's applying to the techpub.us domain. And it's applying to all recipient types. Let's cancel that. And we're going to add another policy. And you'll see exactly what this does. So let's give this policy name Techpub.net. And under the email address format we'll click plus and we'll choose the Techpub.net domain. Now this will only show up if you've set this up under the Accepted Domains tab.
