Handle non-delivery reports (NDRs)
- [Instructor] A non-delivery report is an event that let's you know when an email cannot be delivered. And this happens on both Exchange online as well as on premises. There is a code in each of the reports you can use to look up the reason for the nondelivery so you can resolve it and get the emails sent. Look up the code and you will see the answer to your issue in most cases. Here's a nondelivery report that was received when I sent an email off to a nonsense email address. It shows here that it could not be delivered and it wasn't found. If we look in the bottom section we see fix email delivery issues for the error code 5.1.10 in Office 365. Remember that Office 365 is just a part of Microsoft 365 which includes Microsoft products such as Office 2019 as many others. So now we need to take this error code to get us further along to find out why the email wasn't deliverable. TechNet says that the error code 5.1.10…
