- [Instructor] There are many different types of groups that we can create in Exchange Server 2019 as well as Microsoft 365. And we're going to start by creating a new distribution group in our Exchange on-premise server and we start that off by typing new-distributiongroup. It's very similar to creating a new mailbox, just a slightly different command. And we'll give it a name and we'll call it ITAdmins and then the alias will be the same. Again, no spaces in ITAdmins or any alias group and we'll make it so anybody can join without being restricted. And enter and now we have our group created. I'm going to minimize that and we're in groups in our on-premise Exchange server. I'm going to refresh and go back to groups and there's our ITAdmins group.
