- [Instructor] Let's see how we can create a resource mailbox in Exchange Server 2019 using our on-premise server. You don't need to assign licenses to your resource mailboxes, they include room and shared mailboxes, as well as equipment mailboxes, as long as their storage quota does not go over 50 gigabytes, if they do, then you will need to purchase a license, but without it, you can create as many as you want of these different types of resource mailboxes and it won't cost anything extra. So we're in the resources in our on-premise exchange, and you see the plus sign, and that's because we don't need to worry about licensing, and click on Room mailbox. Now most likely, you're to have a conference room, so we'll just go ahead and create a Conference Room resource mailbox, and once again, don't have any spaces in your alias 'cause they cannot have them since it's tied back to the email address.
