Replicate databases in a DAG

- [Narrator] Let's take a look at how we can replicate databases in exchange server 2019. In a previous video, we added our member servers into a database availability group as you see here. And let's go to where it says databases, and we've created exchange mailboxes just on the exchange one server. So even though we see two different mailbox databases, there's nothing on exchange two, we only want to replicate exchange one. So we'll go to the three dots here and choose Add database copy. Now this was not here before, when we had not yet created the database availability group. It gets added after you successfully create it. We'll click on add, and we get a new box that pops up. We're going to choose the mailbox server that we want to replicate it with and we choose exchange two as our only option. We see the activation preference number, that means that by default if both servers are up, then the activation is going to be on exchange one. If there's a problem with exchange one, then…
