Create a mastering chain to finalize your track

- FL Studio is not just for audio production and mixing purposes. The plug-ins that come by default with the software package make it very easy to set up a mastering chain and finalize your tracks ready for commercial distribution. It is important to explain what each of these elements do within the mastering chain. Your first Fruity Parametric EQ2 is for cutting unwanted frequencies from the mix. For instance, it's a good idea to cut frequencies below 30 hertz as these are often not playable and are not on PA club systems anyway. To do this, we can select the band one type. Make sure that it's selected as a High Pass and increase the band one order down to around steep 4 or steep 8. Bringing this frequency band one across and then changing the width will then enable us to cut frequencies effectively below 30 hertz. Finally, you can also get rid of a lot of frequencies above 15 kilohertz. This is because most people can't acutally hear frequencies above this point. So, again, cutting…
