- Harmless is an incredibly powerful synthesizer designed by Image-Line, the creators of FL Studio, and it comes packaged with the signature bundle. It is an incredibly powerful tool and worth investigating and using fully. Let's have a look at trying to create a lead sound using Harmless. First of all, you want to make sure that you've got a default instance of Harmless already loaded on your FL Studio project. You then want to default the program by clicking on this drop-down menu for plugin options, scrolling across to Presets, and then going up to Default. Now we need to start changing some of the options so that we create the trance sound that we're looking for. First of all, what you want to do is go over here and turn this mix knob up to about halfway, and then turn the pluck knob down to about a third of the way. Then you want to go over here to the decay knob, turn that down to about ten o'clock and the release up to about two o'clock. Let's see what that sounds like now. (C…
