Making sweepers with 3xOsc and automation

- The 3x Osc has been around for a long time in FL Studio. It can be used to create basslines, leads, and pads but one great way of using it is to quickly create white noise sweepers. Using the 3x Osc and the powerful feature known as automation, which I'll be covering in much greater detail in the next chapter, you can do this very quickly. Let's have a look at how to do this. First of all, as you can see at the moment I've loaded up an instance of the 3x Osc from the project files. To do this, if you haven't got the project files opened you simply click on the + button here and then make sure you load up the 3x Osc in the Synth Classic section. You then want to make sure that you've changed all 3 oscillators to the white noise waveform, as you can see here. What you then want to do is link the 3x Osc to the mixer. To do that, make sure you've got the Channel button selected in the Channel rack, then go up to the Mixer, select it, and the right-click on any of the empty Inserts here.…
