The Mixer main menu

- The mixer in FL Studio will contain no surprises to anyone familiar with mixing desks and recording studios or anywhere else, for that matter. Volume faders, panning controls, a stereo separation, and other mixer effects are all here. Let's have a more detailed look at the user interface of the FL Studio Mixer and demonstrate some of its uses by using the exercise files. First of all, we need to launch the mixer. So, to do that, go up to your shortcut keys in the top right hand corner of the interface and hit the View Mixer button. And this will bring up the FL Studio Mixer. As you can see, we've already got our demo piano sound loaded in the playlist and in the channel rack. So, first of all, we need to link this to the mixer by selecting the Channel rack button and then right clicking on an empty insert, selecting Channel routing, and then Route selected channels to this track.
