Using delay to create interesting effects

- Delay is a great way to turn plain source sounds into something that is immediately much more interesting. Using Delay is a great way of creating space, giving your sound character, and making it seem much more expressive. Let's have a look at how to use Delay within FL Studio by using the Fruity Delay 2. There are several plugins in FL Studio that allow you to create delay, but using the Fruity Delay 2 is the ideal plugin for the beginner as it contains a fairly simplified array of controls. Here we have our project files loaded with a basic pluck sound in the playlist as well. Let's take a look at what that sounds like. As you can see, it's a very simplified sound and it's been built using the 3xOsc. What we want to do is we want to introduce Delay to make the sound seem more interesting and more expressive.
