- Sometimes when you go live, you may want to use a better camera. Now, there's nothing wrong with a good web camera, but maybe you have access to professional video cameras, or your place of worship, or educational institution has a live video feed, or a multi camera setup. Well you can take that setup and run the video signal through hardware, so it's ready to use. Allowing you to use the highest end cinema cameras, To do this though, you're going to need some hardware. One of my favorite choices is the BlackMagic Web Presenter, but there are other options out there. the BlackMagic Web Presenter is a simple hardware box, and it allows you to take the input of a camera, and run it through. On the back are some relatively easy connections. You'll take the USB port here and connect that to your computer, and it acts like a standard web camera.
