- If you're posting a video, there's an additional option that may be of interest. It's called a premiere. It allows you to actually schedule a video for release and inform your audience that it's coming. This is essentially a countdown timer that can help them get excited about watching a new video. Here's a little bit about premieres. A Facebook Premiere allows you to upload and schedule pre-recorded videos to be broadcast live on a Facebook page. All of the benefits you get with Facebook Live video, but instead you're using a pre-recorded video. This means that you have opportunities for engagement. After you schedule the premiere, a post is published immediately. It does include a Get Reminder button. And anybody who is subscribed to be reminded is going to receive a notification 20 minutes before the video comes in. Additionally, the video will air with a red Premiere badge that's very similar to the Live badge. A page administrator doesn't have to be present during the airing…
