- [Instructor] At some point, you're going to need to ask yourself, "Does my business need a group?" To answer this, we have to look at what groups can offer in comparison with your company page, and see if there's a business objective that you might be missing with just your page. Groups feel more like a community setting of like-minded people with similar needs or interests in one place. It feels like a forum, where members can connect, and share ideas, and give and receive feedback, share resources, and interact with a brand. Here's our demo group that we created for this course. This is a regular Facebook business page, which can look very similar to a group. Though your business page can be an effective engagement tool, and point of reference for your fans, it serves a different function. It's more like a website when you think about it.
