Going live on Facebook from a computer
- Let's talk about going live directly from a computer to Facebook Live. Now, there are several things to consider. But you generally have a couple of steps to walk through before you should engage the live stream. First step, I recommend you take a look at your screen resolution. Ideally, you want to be in a 16 by nine resolution. This is because most of the video players that are out there and most devices prefer this ratio. So this is going to be a resolution like 1280 by 720, or 1920 by 1080. This really became a standard back in 2010. Or you could consider 4K resolution for your screen. But you're not going to be able to actually stream that from Facebook Live. The reason why I recommend setting the screen resolution to 16 by nine is that this is important if you want to actually share your screen such as a SlideShare or a software demonstration.
