- If you'd like to turn your laptop into a production studio or a desktop computer, you can do so. Now, there are different tools available for Mac and PC. The tool I'm gonna focus on right now is for Mac. A little bit later in this course, we will explore Open Broadcaster Studio, or OBS, and that's cross-platform, so those of you on PC will be able to use this. But Ecamm Live is a very easy to use tool. I'd like to walk you through it. What you can do is locate the software, and then launch it from your applications folder or your doc. And it has a whole bunch of cool options here. Now, first up, what you'll notice is that we have some basic controls. And I can even set up some overlays, or scenes. Up here, I can choose which microphone I'm going to use. And you see that you have controls here to adjust the volume. So I was hitting the red there, which is distortion. But now I can back that off a little bit so we're not hitting red. So having the ability here to manually adjust audio…
