Interpreting Facebook's ad relevance diagnostics

- Facebook's job is to make as much money as possible whilst not annoying their users and ad relevance is what captures that trade-off. It's important to monitor this because high relevance equals high performance. Your ads are penalized for failing on any one of these rankings. In order to see the rankings you can go to columns, performance default, or you can go to customize columns and bring them in that way. If you go to the ads tab this is the only tab where they're available. You can see there are three different ranking factors: quality ranking, engagement ranking, and conversion rate ranking. Quality ranking is how relevant the ad is to the audience, engagement rate ranking is how much the audience is actually engaging with the ad, and these aren't the same thing.
