- We've established that things change, so where are we right now when it comes to the internet? Every time I sit down to evaluate the state of the internet, I'm amazed. That's because things keep changing, and sometimes the change is subtle and you don't realize it. So let's look at some key trends of what's been going on. The pursuit of likes is at an all time high. Social media addiction is a real thing. People are absolutely obsessed with what others think about their content.
