Recording a backup stream
- Before you start streaming you can actually choose to save a backup recorded copy. This way, if there's any interference with your upload speed or bandwidth, you can upload a higher quality version later. Plus it makes it easy to upload to another service, like YouTube or Twitter if you wanna share after the fact. To control this just click on Settings. Now you'll see the Output area and there's a simple mode here that allows you to stream, and that's fine, or we could take a look here under the Recording option and save a quality. So instead of just saving it at the same quality as the stream, we can save a high quality version with a medium file size, or a really high quality version here, or one that's lossless which is gonna take up a tremendous amount of disk space and processing power. I generally recommend high quality or indistinguishable, and those work quite well. This allows you to now choose where that's actually saved. So you could choose to write it to a folder, and…
