Split testing ad creative using Test and Learn
- [Instructor] The key to improving performance is testing new creative but there are multiple methods to use. Let's walk through when it makes sense to use Facebook's test and learn feature to split test versus using alternative options. So by default, when you put multiple ads in an ad set Facebook will optimize to find the one that performs best but this can be pretty extreme. And some people worry that Facebook decides too quickly against an ad that isn't performing. If you leave some of these ads that perform for a little bit longer potentially they would have caught up to the one that Facebook picked and maybe even surpassed it. Also, when you work really hard in an ad it's really painful to see that it didn't get more than a handful of impressions. So to give your ads more of a fair chance you can run the split test.
