Using the auction Inspect tool to detect ad fatigue
- [Speaker] Unlike Google ads, where it's different people searching every day. On Facebook, you're reaching the same audience again and again. If you're not careful, they'll get tired of your ads. Let's learn how to identify when ad fatigue is starting to happen by using the Auction Inspect Tool. You'll be forgiven for not knowing what this is. It's kind of buried in the UI. If you go into the Ad Sets tab, then you hover over each Ad Set. You'll see this inspect element here. If you click on that, you can see some of the important metrics. You can also get here by editing the ad and then hovering over and going down to Inspect. First thing to look out here is the learning phase. This is the shaded area here. You can see that we made some edits recently, and these edits have reset the learning phase for the algorithms for this Ad Set. This can cause performance to be unpredictable.
