Are there any restrictions for video on Facebook?

- What video files are you allowed to post? Well, there are a few rules when it comes to posting video on Facebook. Facebook is particularly sensitive to piracy and they want to make sure that you're not uploading video that doesn't belong to you or that you have the rights to. So, what are the restrictions? Well, first up, you can't upload video longer than 120 minutes. Two hours is a pretty long video for the web, so don't try to upload any feature-length movies, or, if you did cut together an epic home movie, try to cut it up into some pieces that are a big smaller. The maximum file size is four gigabytes. Well, this is about the size of a typical DVD. So that's still a lot of content. If you've used music for commercial, or non-personal uses, it is prohibited unless you have a license.
