- [Instructor] If you have used an app on an iOS device before you've probably noticed that when you click into certain fields or enter data, many apps present a device specific keyboard to make your data entry easier. By default, when a field is entered, when a database is being accessed on an iOS device and the user requests a keyboard for input which usually happens by tapping into a field FileMaker Go will examine the layout's definition and determine which input method to use. So you might notice that if you click into a date field, for example, you see date has the date wheel, time has is own time wheel, and timestamp has a combination of the two, it's both the date wheel and the time. All of these have the insert option and containers of course have their own contextual menu with all the different import options.
