- [Instructor] So we've discussed how setting up relationships and query relationships can help us view data from other contexts and filter data from other contexts or even allow users to do that. We've even looked at how creating a base table relationship or query relationship can help us navigate from one context to another using scripts. Now I'm going to introduce to you a way that we can integrate existing relationships and queries into our calculation formulas. But first I want to introduce to you a family of functions called aggregate functions. I'm going to open up my Data Viewer. If you don't have the Tools menu, you'll have to go and turn on advanced tools in your preferences. But I'm just using this as a way to demonstrate to you the format of aggregate functions. So we see here we've got a bunch of familiar-looking function names, like Sum, or Average, or Count, Max, or Min.
