- [Instructor] So we've talked about different ways to create reports for your users which involves defining some fields and some different layouts and layout parts. But I'm going to show you a way that you can train your users to create their own reports on the fly. And it's all based on the table view. Table view is this spreadsheet-looking view which you can invoke for any layout that you have in your database. So for example, if you navigate to Customer List, Customer List normally looks like this. But if you select this little Table View icon, it'll show up in a spreadsheet view. It's not so much about the way that it looks but moreso about the functionality that these column-headers provide. You'll notice when you click on the arrow, you have all sorts of options. The ability to sort and modify different things about the fields like options and field types or even hide it from the table view. But what I want to concentrate on is the ability to group.
