Creating tables in the Manage Tables window
- [Instructor] So assuming you've gone through all the proper exercises to determine what tables you're going to need inside your custom app, the next thing you want to do is actually add them to your FileMaker database. Actually, this is where creating a FileMaker database begins so it's really the first action that you will do inside your new app. So in our example we've determined that we need a customer table, an invoice table, and a product table. So I'm going to show you how you can add these to a database. Now the first thing we're going to want to do is create a new app from scratch. I happen to have the Create window up on screen already. If you don't, you can just go to File, Create New. And we're going to choose the Blank option which is the default option, I'm going to hit Create. I'm going to save my app anywhere, really, and you can name it anything you'd like. In this case, actually, I'm going to leave it as Untitled just to kind of show you something in a second…
