- [Narrator] Thus far, we've been learning about basic relationship types and how to model relationships between tables. And in this movie, we're going to use a real world use case to apply what we've learned. Before we get started, let's remember that ERD modeling breaks down into three phases. First, we develop a list of tables. And then we determine and diagram the relationships between those tables. And then we repeat steps one and two if we encounter any many-to-many or one-to-one relationships resolving those down to one-to-many's. So let's try this out. In this example, we have the Jaxson Shelter which is a charitable organization that holds different events to solicit donations for their charity. The organization needs a database to help them manage donations made by their members. Now they've indicated that they've had trouble managing donations that are made by more than one member at a time such as couples or groups. They also need a way to keep a history of these donations…
