- [Instructor] Once you've added records to your FileMaker app, or if you already have records in the FileMaker app, you have the ability to edit the data that's in the fields. You can control whether or not users, or even certain users, can edit values inside your custom app through manage security. While we won't be going into the details of that in this movie, all of that information is in a different FileMaker course. But there's also a way that you can manage whether or not users can interact with a field, and I'll show you that in just a moment. So editing, very simple. Go ahead and click right in the field and make a change. Unless the developer has made some kind of change, either in the manage security settings, or in layout mode, like for example here, I could click inside the primary key field, and if I go to the data tab over in my inspector pane, and I scroll down to about the middle here, you'll notice that there's something called field entry.
