- [Instructor] Once you have your base table relationship set up in your FileMaker relationship graph, you'll have the architecture that you need to build upon. So what I'd like to discuss with you now is how to use the relationship graph to create other query types of relationships that can be used for specialized purposes. But first, let's take a look at the relationship graph in our exercise file. So you'll notice that we have all of our base table relationships, this looks just like our ERD, so every relationship you see here is a parent to child, parent to child, and parent to child. All of them have the PK to FK relationships. These are actually relationships per the definition in database terms as what a relationship is. Now, because FileMaker uses the relationship graph to manage both relationships and queries, I want to introduce you to a terminology that will make sense in a second but might not make sense at first.
