New requests in find mode

- [Instructor] In many cases you may find that you want to search for different values in different fields in FileMaker. But sometimes you want to search for multiple values in the same field, and have those be included in one found set. So, for example, let's say I go into find mode, and I enter in California into this field. Now, let's say, in addition to finding all the records from California in my found set, I also want to find all the records from Washington. So, do I just go ahead and put California and Washington to that field? Let's see what happens. FileMaker tells me no. It doesn't have anything that matches that, cause it's actually looking for C-A or W-A or C-A space W-A. So, instead, what we, do is do something that's called creating a new request. So I'm going to leave the original search request on screen here, and I'm going to hit the new request button that you see up here in the top when you're in find mode.
