Understand states
- [Voiceover] In other movies in this course we've looked at how you can apply formatting to objects on your layout. Now, in this movie I'm going to show you something interesting about how an object on your layout can have different states, and how you can apply different formatting to each state. So first let's talk about what states are. All of this is going to be found inside Layout Mode. If you don't have your Inspector open go ahead and open that up. It should be this eye button right here, and if yours is collapsed like mine then uncollapse it, and you're going to want to go over to the Style tab which is the third one here. It looks like a little pallet. And you may have noticed as we're working with things here, that we've got these two drop-downs. First of all, this is the Theme, this is the Style of whatever the selected object is, so let's say I select the company logo. That tells me it's the Default company logo style.
