- [Instructor] When you start to use Query relationships in FileMaker and if you're looking for that definition, just watch the previous video. Instead of just of just Base table relationships, you can do some pretty interesting things within the FileMaker interface. So a couple of concepts I wanted to show you are around the idea of creating a user driven interface. So my goal in this exercise is to have a dashboard view. These are very popular, we build a lot of these for our customers. I build them into my own tools, that has a context that is not relevant to any particular customer record, or invoice record, or product record or anything. It's just a layout that a user, like myself, let's say, can enter a value into a field and then see a bunch of stuff in a portal. And in this video, I want to show you a technique that combines a couple things, one of which is very interesting.
