Layout object are the building block of layouts. Everything you place a layout be it a field, an image, a portal, or a field label even is considered an object. And all objects have particular attributes that you can manipulate. Now of course you can only manipulate layout objects and their attributes when you're in Layout mode. So why don't we start there. In Layout mode, you can actually group any combination of objects so that you can edit, or move them together. Or even changing the stacking order of the objects to get different effects when the objects overlap. The Grouping Tools can be found in your Inspector. You can see that I've got the Inspector open here, if you don't see the Inspector on your copy of FinalMaker, all you have to do is go under View. And then chose Inspector. Of course, you can use the quick key which is either Ctrl+I or Cmd+I inside of Mac. If you leave the Inspector open, it'll still be there waiting for you next time you go into Layout Mode however.
