Capturing with an NLE
- Now, media express is a nice easy to use tool, but -- - There's lots of tools like that out there, too. - Yeah. But you might have a full-blown nonlinear editing system because you want to start cutting clips down or move them around or take advantage of advanced metadata. And tools like Premier Pro and Final Cut Pro have the ability to capture when you plug in a device like this. - [Male] Now, Rich, one of the things that's a little confusing about using a tool like Premier Pro to capture things is that you can find the same information in a couple different places. So, for example, up here in the file menu, we have something that says Capture or F5; right? If we go up to the window menu, we have something right here called Capture. - [Rich] But not F5. - [Male] Not F5. (laughs) It gets you to the same place.
