- Workflow is key. What do I mean by that? You need to test everything you do. You need to test your lighting strategies. You need to test your lenses. You need to take your cameras out and make sure everything is charged. But before you do that, you need to know your tools. So, I would not recommend bringing a new piece of equipment, whatever it is, to a shoot, unless you have time to test it and master it. You need to read instructions. You need to make sure that you understand the system, that if you're working with lots or looks or different profiles, make sure you test those.
