- As I was looking for a product to light, with tons of reflections, I thought it would be good to have something with lots of chrome, lines and curves. Something that would challenge my lighting techniques, and help you understand the foundations of working with reflections. So that's how we got this beautiful 2008 Harley model. But then I found this in the backyard, so we rolled it in here too. Actually, I found the motorcycle first, and it happened that the owner had a direct replica of the exact same bike, really cool. When walking onto a set with a big expensive toy like this one, it can be intimidating to light. You want to make it look good, all of its curves and chrome, ready for the camera to capture. So how do you light it? I've set up an example for us to check out. This big scale set up, not many people will have access to. You might not have the ability to shoot in a large studio, or have lots of expensive lighting gear around. But you can pull off the same effects…
