Manage the work on set

- In managing the work for the day, I want to make sure that I prioritize the day. In other words, I know what's important, and I also know what's not important. And if there are any problematic scenes, I want to make sure that I note that, too, so that I keep my eye out for that. And I can't emphasize this enough: I want to make sure that we have a complete scene as early in the day as possible. Make sure, and I try to make sure, keep my eye on this for myself, that you have as much urgency at the beginning of the day as at the end of the day. I believe a lot of poor work in films results from the rushing that happens at the end of the day because of a relatively lax beginning of the day. Start the day with excitement and urgency, and maintain quality through the entire day.
