Orient the audience

- We've done the master. The master is important because we want to make sure that we've oriented the audience, that they have the information that they need in order to move forward in the story. That's the definition of the master. Now, you don't need all angles, you don't need the same angles for all characters. You should be clear about who the protagonist is. Whose story is it? Now, don't compromise the protagonist angle for the benefit of the other characters. The most important thing is to make sure that the audience has the point of view of the film. Okay, so now we're going to move in to do some closer angles.
