- So, Jonathan, you've given us some good insight about, sort of obviously the setup of a boom system, and how you hold it into a scene, something else I've been wondering about is, besides just being out of frame, obviously that's important, as you mentioned. You know, one of the things I hear oftentimes, when I'm watching movies, is sort of a, kind of a proximity, or a little bit of perspective when it comes to audio. How do you go about, say if it's a wide shot, are you standing a little further away, you know, so the audio's not quite as dry, and as tight, versus something, hey it's a close up, we're gonna get right up in there. - [Jonathan] Right, it depends on the medium that you're working in. - [Interviewer] Sure. - [Jonathan] Is this a dramatic piece? Are you doing a documentary? Are you doing a reality show? But perspective, you want sometimes, you need to be right in there getting clean crisp audio.
