- Let's put this all into action. We've already placed an Astra litepanel light, which is a pro quality light, Kevin, explain its position and what it's doing. - So I've placed my key light at a 45 degree angle to the camera, which is, generally speaking, the best place where it should be. It gives you a nice catch light to the eyes, and it also has a nice ratio between shadow, and between light. - And that's filling it in quite nicely, I can see there with that pro quality light, that it definitely is filling it in. But turn that off for a second. That's making a huge difference there, we can really see that that light is doing a lot with just one light. How about those less professional lights, can you show us what those do? - So just like our litepanels Astra, we can use this little Manfrotto portable battery-powered light to essentially create the same effect. It's lighting the face, coming from a 45 degree angle, and it has a nice contrast ratio between shadow and light. - And I…
