- Of course, we're talking about film. Everything is important: sound, camera movement, composition. All that is important. You have to pick your battles. Early on, we said okay we only have a very limited amount of time, very limited amount of money, and it's just a very small crew, what are the top priorities? And we decided lighting was the key to the story. If we were in a Hollywood set, with a Hollywood budget, we could just transform this space in anything we wanted and then just do this and whatever light, whatever gadget we wanted would be here in five seconds. That's not our case. So, how can we transform a location that works okay to make it work perfect? Through lighting. - It's a small space. We need to have really directional light, and we can probably accomplish that with either barn doors or cinefoil. Just something to kind of make these streaks.
