- Now Rich, when you do decide to use Facebook live streaming, as a general rule of thumb, it's a good idea to announce to your friends and followers that you're going to live stream, so it's good to let people know that you're about to set up a live stream. That way they can plan tuning into what you're gonna do, and I generally like to put where I am, where I'm gonna be shooting from, and the content that I'm gonna be talking about, 'cause nothing's worse than tuning into something and you're like, what is this guy talking about? - Absolutely, so I'm just gonna put this in here. We can of course, you know, tag our status and everything else, but that allows us to post a status update, so that appears, like you said, so your friends can see this.
