- Product shots are all about the product, so they're very detail oriented. The lighting, the dressing, the composition, and orientation of the product all play a big role in the final picture. In still photography, there are a lot of benefits to using cameras with higher dynamic range, larger sensors, and the ability to composite in post. But with video, it's a little less forgiving. With video, what you see in camera for the most part is what you get.
